Animation
I find animation to be the most satisfying art-making medium. There’s something about bringing characters & objects to life that truly makes me feel like a wizard. I studied animation under the amazing Christopher Sullivan, Matthew Marsden and James Trainor at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Here is a small collection of some of my animation creations…
CANCER CAT is a dark humored, anti-tobacco short film about a cat that smokes cigarettes.
Night Goon talks Art.
Ad for Monsoon Chocolate’s “Sweet Heart Collection” of bon bons.
Night Goon attempts generosity.
Dance, Night Goon, Dance.
FEMININE SORCERY
SKY SPORTS is a stop-motion animation made from deconstructing a book I found at a yard sale in Chicago.
CAT NIP COMMERCIAL is the first hand-drawn animation I created.
This is the second stop motion attempt I ever made. It’s part of a series called “FEEL GOOD TIPS”, meant to point out the obvious little things that make a big difference.
Drink more water.
